Frequently Asked Questions about Embroidery & Screen Printing

What if I don't have a logo or a design?

That's ok! We can help you design a logo or layout for your company, team, or event. Our designers work closely with you to make sure you love your logo or design.

What if I have a logo or design?

We will accept your design or logo in the following formats: .ai or .eps. We can accept .jpeg but there will likely be an additional charge to recreate your design. Vector files are always preferred. Send us your design at

Can I have my design put on something other than a shirt?

Yes! We can embroider or screen print on a variety of wearable surfaces, from t-shirts, sweatshirts, and jackets, to ball caps or winter hats. Give us a call with your idea and we'll let you know if we can do it!

Is there a minimum order?

Yes. We do require that you place a minimum order. If you purchase your apparel from us, which we strongly recommend, the minimum order for embroidery is 6 pieces and for screen printing it is 12 pieces. If you bring in your own apparel, the minimum order for embroidery is 12 pieces and for screen printing 24 pieces.

How much does it cost?

The cost of screen printing or embroidery is based on a few things.

  • Number of garments being printed
  • Number of colors
  • Number of locations on the shirt
  • Number of screens required to print the garment (for screen printing only)

Can I bring in my own shirts or other materials to embroider or print on?

While you are able to bring in some items you have purchased, we cannot accept sweatshirts and strongly prefer you to purchase products from us. We have extensive options available and can guarantee final product when you buy from us. Our prices are competitive, typically better than what an individual can get, and will usually be cheaper the more you buy. We cannot guarantee or replace products purchased elsewhere that you have us embroider or screen print.

Why do I pay a set-up fee?

A set-up fee is a one-time fee charged to set up screens for screen printing or a computer file to for embroidery. Most items will require a one-time set-up fee, as long as what you are printing or embroidering doesn't change if you request more items. The set up fee for screen printing is typically $20.00 per color and $20.00 per location, so if you wanted to print a two color design on the back and a 2 color design on the front the set up fee would be $80.00.

How long will it take to complete my order?

We do our best to guarantee a two week turn around after you have approved your design but can be dependent on the complexity of the design, how many locations on a garment we are embroidering or screen printing, and total volume of work. We will work with you to give you a timeline when you place an order.

Are there certain things you cannot embroider?

Unfortunately, yes. Very small text or graphics cannot be reproduced with embroidery. The level of detail can also very depending on what type of fabric you request. We will work with you to modify your design to make sure it will work!
